iQ Montessori has been in the Highland Creek area in Scarborough for almost 10 years. During this time we have been working hand in hand with parents to provide an exceptional Montessori learning experience for each child. The child is allowed to explore their environment at their own pace and receives individual attention. All the work is created for life long love learning through their positive experiences.

iQ Montessori School offers students an enriching and challenging educational environment where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, emotionally and socially. We seek to:
- Nurture each student’s innate curiosity, creativity and imagination
- To develop self motivation and concentrate for time periods necessary to choose their own activities and complete them with care and precision.
- To be enthusiastic and find pleasure in new and challenging activities.
- Instil a strongly held set of values which include self-respect and respect for others, honesty, integrity, responsibility, empathy, compassion, kindness, peacefulness, a sense of concern for others and a desire to give something back to those who are in need.
Our class sizes are small, allowing teachers to meet the needs of each individual student. Children who have mastered their work are challenged with enriched activities. Alternatively, work may be modified to provide children with additional support.
We believe that children should enjoy school, be intellectually stimulated, experience positive social interaction, and have a positive relationship with their teachers.
Every child is cared for and treated as an individual.
We now have summer camps where we offer a variety of fun and dynamic activities. Our goal is to provide programs that help develop individual skills in sports, arts and many other educational programs (parental request). We also offer Half Day and Full Day programs.
